Job Description:
The prime roles of a Director/Principal is to provide academic and administrative leadership to the Institute, and to engage with external organizations on behalf of the Institute and University. This will involve the following general responsibilities:
Governance of the Institute and the establishment and development of its strategic direction.
Guidance and development of teaching and research.
Guidance and development of staff and the management of staff-related issues.
Management of finances and infrastructure through effective planning, revenue generation, budgeting and expenditure control.
Internationalization of the Institute.
Presenting the academics project cases to the top management and working in close coordination with all concerned departments for efficiently managing all resources of the department.
Tracking & implementing academic & administrative project plans within pre-set estimate / capital budgets and deadlines.
Monitoring academic projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance; evaluating project progress & taking adequate corrective actions to ensure satisfactory execution of academic projects.
Candidate Requirement
Experience:
15 – 20 years
Qualification:
Doctorate in Management with Ph.D
