BharatPe Looking For Public Policy Manager at Gurugram, Haryana, Full Time

As the Lead Public Policy & Corporate Affairs, you will assist the General Counsel & Head-Corporate Affairs in driving the BharatPe public policy and government relations efforts/initiatives in India and contribute to shaping a regulatory ecosystem conducive to fintech innovation. You will work at the intersection of policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and government affairs, driving initiatives that align with the company’s business goals and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include the following:

• Assist the General Counsel & Head-Corporate Affairs in designing and executing robust public policy strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
• Identify key policy priorities and regulatory challenges, assessing potential impacts on the company’s operations for strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, government agencies (e.g., RBI, NPCI, DFS, MIETY), and policymakers / SRO (e.g. PCI, FACE, DLAI, IAMAI) to proactively advocate for the company’s interests.
• Attend industry consultations, regulatory workshops, and public discussions on fintech-related policies.
• Draft detailed responses/comments to draft notifications/circulars and policy papers in consultation with business, legal and compliance teams, ensuring the company’s position is effectively communicated.
• Develop partnerships with think tanks, academia, and civil society organizations to foster thought leadership.
• Work closely with business, legal, and compliance teams to align business strategies with regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate cross-departmental understanding of policy developments and ensure compliance readiness.
