Job Description:
Detailed Accountabilities
Facilitate discussions on business pain points and lead conversations on how data
science techniques can be leveraged to solve problems/opportunities with Client.
Estimate scope/size of data science development efforts
Deliver Use case to help further refine the value proposition of various AI/ML use
cases
Complete core development of ML models regression, correlation, optimization,
etc using Python and other open-source technologies as applicable (mainly in
Azure cloud ecosystem)
Deploy models within Azure DevOps
Automate model training and testing with ML operations techniques deploy ML
Ops for ongoing automated model re-training
Partner with other data science developers/engineers on multiple initiatives,
including both employees and Client. Work closely with all resources on designing
full end-to-end solution from data ingestion through transformation, ML modelling
and into output layer (web application, PowerBI report, etc)
Lead a team of employee and contract resources
Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion
Coordinate work activities with other IT services and business teams.
Manage partnership with Client for SOWs as applicable
Skills & Experience Required
8+ years of work experience in advanced analytic solutioning.
At least 4 + years of experience building data science and ML models
3-5+ years of Python development experience (engineering and/or data science) in
cloud-native ecosystems preferable in AZURE.
Knowledge of Time series, Regression, and classification machine learning models
Good to have knowledge of deep learning but not mandatory
Should have good exposure to times series data machine learning modelling
Azure cloud ecosystem knowledge is must
Strong SQL & data modelling experience
Experience building CI/CD pipelines preferred.
Heavy familiarity with key data & analytics technologies: ADF, Databricks, Azure
Synapses, Python/Spark, Power BI
Preferred experience with CI/CD pipeline development & architecture
Experience delivering projects using SCRUM agile framework ( Planning, 4-week
sprint delivery, etc)
Demonstrated ability to understand business problems/opportunity areas and
clearly articulate data science approaches to create value against those
Strong communication skills, specifically in the context of presenting
approach/results of data science to business partners &Work stream/ product
owners
