Biitcode is urgently hiring for the post of Purchase Engineer/ SCM Engineer- SCM for our client. Our client is into automotive industry. Please find the details below.

Position: Purchase Engineer/ SCM Engineer- SCM

Location: Pune (Chakan)

Requisites:

· Should have 3-4 years of experience in relevant field

· Should have educational qualification in BE Mechanical or relevant field

· Should have a good leadership ability and dynamic

· Must have knowledge of ERP system

· Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skill

Responsibilities:

• Material Scheduling, planning, procurement of material on monthly, weekly & daily Basis.

• Handle local as well as long lead supplier.

• Follow up with supplier for Delivery/Rejection/Shortage.

• Manage all procurement activities and ensure procurement sources provide good quality and cost-effective materials in time.

• Resolve supply, quality and invoicing issues with vendors.

• Close coordination with logistics, production, quality & store team for effective planning.

• Inventory management as per target and classification

• VAVE Implementation – material control as per engineering change with Zero obsolescence cost.

• Vendor development & continuous improvement at supplier end.

• Meet ON Time Spare Requirements.

• Coordinating with Account department for timely payment to vendors

• PO updating in system.

• Good hands-on ERP system.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹400,000.00 – ₹500,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• SCM,Purchase/Purchase Order: 3 years (Preferred)
• Automobile Engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
