Sr. Accountant (4-6 Years’ Experience)

At Bio Trend Energy we are looking for a Accountant to join our finance department and take over the major reporting and reconciliation duties for our company.

Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and/or managing a team of Accountants and Junior Accountants.

The duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of company’s accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

– The Accountant will be responsible for heading the finance of the company and reporting directly to the Directors’/Head – Accounts.

· Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department

· Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

· Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the attention

· Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary

· Reconcile balance sheet accounts

· Coordinate annual audits

· Conduct regular ledger maintenance

Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

· 4-6 years’ experience in general or tax accounting

· Experience with computerized ledger systems

· Advanced knowledge of Excel

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Familiarity with accounting tools

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹28,000.00 – ₹32,000.00 per month
