what you will do

P&L Management:

• Sales and margin for the category (top line and bottom line)
• Responsible for pricing and promotion of the category
• Understand and help the team to build new initiatives to enhance category margin

Category Insights:

• Responsible for demand generation for the category on the app
• Devising the assortment planning and executing it in line with the promotional campaigns
• Plan short and long-term roadmap for the category in consultation with key stakeholders

Category Marketing:

• Lead the sell side sales strategy for the category on the platform
• Execute brand, product assortment, promotion plans and pricing
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure visibility of the category/brands
• Be responsible for category launch and initiative plans to drive the category for sales and customer satisfaction

This would be a high ownership role – hence it would be expected of the person coming in to own up things and start driving the business

The person in the role would be expected to think of new and disruptive ways to grow the category allotted. Think, innovate and solve for the growth is the mindset we are looking for in this role

You should be comfortable in solving a fuzzy/unsolvable problem; having the right thought process is what would matter here when it comes to solving these problems
