Blockchain Solutions Network Hiring for QA Engineer at Remote Full Time

Job description Roles and Responsibilities –

• 3-6 years professional experience with manual. Your role will have assistance from our development, DevOps, and other teams so fear not.
• Champion QA in a cross-functional team (Engineering and Product) to achieve a high-quality standard
• Empower Engineers to support quality by assisting them in developing robust plans for testing their work Provide manual and ad-hoc testing.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of an automation strategy
• Collaborate on creating documentation regarding the effective use of automation tools

Continue to develop automated integration, system, and API or service level tests Identify unintended consequences of design changes (e.g. page layout, element alignment, etc.)

• Contribute to the development and implementation of performance, load, and stress tests
• Research and propose new solutions and technologies for our testing needs
• Prepare flowcharts, workflow diagrams, release notes, test cases, etc. for the documentation and details on the project. We encourage proper documentation and process.

A preferable candidate is as following –

• Approach QA with a collaborative, team-first, pragmatic outlook
• Possess an eye for detail, quality, and a knack for breaking stuff
• Ability to reflect on QA and SDLC processes in order to improve
• Self-motivated to continually learn and adapt to industry innovations and technologies
• Passionate about testing and becoming a domain expert
• Experience in testing with some of the following (Guru status is not expected):
• Selenium wrappers – Capybara, Nightwatch, WebdriverIO, Protractor, etc.
• Assertion libraries – RSpec, Chai, Expect.js, etc.
• Hosted platforms – BrowserStack, Cypress, GhostInspector, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience scripting with one of the following: Python, JavaScript, shell, etc.
• Comfortable in an Agile environment
• Comfortable with project management and test management tools
• Possess a strong sense of ownership in your work, which drives you to find ways to do things better and faster
• Constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ways to solve complex problems through rigorous experimentation
• Always on the lookout for new ideas and opportunities for self-improvement

Look for ways to help out beyond the scope of your day-to-day work Must have experience and knowledge with both Web and Mobile Application testing. Good to Have

• Knowledge of n-tier applications e.g. front-end server, application server, database, CDN, caching stores, background jobs, etc.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like CircleCI or Jenkins
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, etc.
• Experience with open source technologies. Sometimes we have to cobble bits together when we go DIY.
• Amazing documentation and presentation skills.
• Prior experience in Crypto based platforms or trading platforms.
