Job Description

The Corporate Treasury Technology team supports the front to back management and operation of BNY Mellon s fixed income and securities finance portfolio, which comprise a significant portion of the firm s overall balance sheet. There are several in-house applications to manage straight through processing, regulatory and management reporting, and other critical functions and workflows. The desired candidate will work as a full stack developer with design/architecture mindset, supporting the Corporate Treasury Technology and Liquidity teamResponsibilities include:

• Develop solutions and create efficient and elegant designs for our applications utilizing latest technologies
• Create automated unit testing and develop for multiple critical business and regulatory projects, often in parallel, and work directly with all stakeholders
• Propose and implement innovative solutions for making systems more efficient, reliable, and modern
• Analyze complex data issues and fix bugs to resolve production support issues during the business day

The candidate will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills:

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting a fixed income trading desk and/or treasury services
• Proven experience as a Full stack developer or a similar role preferably in an Agile based project
• Experience with C#, .Net, .Net Core and SQL skills using MS SQL or Oracle
• Strong knowledge with Angular 8, Gitlab, SonarQube
• Experience in Python and Hadoop will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of various data architecture principles and designs
• Experience with test driven development
• Experience in data analysis across multiple systems
• Experience with various SDLC processes and methodologies
• Excellent communication in working with team members and stakeholders
