This team develops software applications and solutions that create direct value for aviation customers. • Experience in Backend development in Angular, Angular JS, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Own software design and architectural decisions
• Troubleshoots basic software issues.
• Document and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs
• Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
• Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software
• Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs
• Keep track of and actively reduce technical debt.
• Coordinates with teams to resolve complex issues related to processes, methods, tools and standards.
• Maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
• Should have excellent communication and presentation skills
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
• This position will require some travel within India and internationally.
• Demonstrated ability to create positive impact on customer by developing polished, cohesive, effective and user-friendly web applications for large and complex aviation related systems.
• Mentors junior team members on technical aspects. The selected individual will also be responsible to provide support to development of internal competency and resources for critical skill sets and be a sought-after expert that other developers can benefit from.
• The selected individual will be a skilled, highly professional engineer, work collaboratively with an international team comprising software development, product management, and business analysis.
• Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and incident response activities to ensure high availability and business continuity.
• Document architecture designs, deployment processes, and technical configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure operational efficiency.
• Cultivates and nurtures relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.
• Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrates a proven ability to thrive in an Agile environment.

• A Bachelors degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
• Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, jQuery and LESS
• Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Net, Java, and Python
• Database and cache: Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached and Varnish
• Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
• Server: Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux
• Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
• Experience in building web applications
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Experience in unit/integration testing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt to an Agile work environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Cloud Certification in AWS and GCP

Typical Education & Experience:

• Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor’s and 13+years’ experience, Master’s degree with 12+ years’ experience. Bachelor, master or doctorate of science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
