Location : India Propulsion Engineering Center(IPEC), Bengaluru

Qualification : B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Power Electronics/Electronics/Communication/Electrical

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Specify, structrize and analyze hardware requirements and hardware interface requirements for Drivetrain Control Module, Engine Control Module and Transmission Control Module.

• Development of hardware architecture.

• Define and document of hardware elements.

• Define and document interfaces of hardware elements.

• Development of Hardware Design FMEA/FTA. Perform hardware safety analysis.

• Establish bidirectional traceability, consistency check, review and baseline of the hardware requirements and communicate hardware requirements.

• Define dynamic behaviour of system.

• Define hardware design verification strategy and verify the hardware design. Baseline and communicate hardware design.

• Develop hardware qualification strategy and hardware qualification specification results

• Perform change management with the customer and internally.

• Review hardware release schedule and scope.

• Manage hardware development and hardware test tasks.

• Support customer test and validation programs.

• Support Cyber Security Engineer to specify Hardware Cybersecurity Requirements

• Support Functional Safety Engineer to specify Hardware Functioanl Safety Requirements.

  Major Job Qualifications Experience:

• Expertise in Drivetrain, Powertrain controllers and Battery Management Unit on hardware requirement and systems functionality wise.

• Expertise in Hardware Functional Safety Analysis (ISO26262 – Part – 5).

• Good knowledge in ISO26262 – Part -4 & 6 (System and Software level).

• Exemplary expertise in hardware requirements elicitation and validating it.

• Good knowledge of requirement management tool (preferably Poalrion).

• Knowledge on Battery management, inverter management, motor maneuver ing & position sensing, DC-DC conversion and Onboard charging is an additional advantage.

• Experience in real-time embedded system design.
