The Controls Engineer is responsible to coordinate within the organization, suppliers and support new control system developments to safety, quality, productivity improvement and process simplification.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Experience in the automotive industry or global manufacturing company preferred.
• Designing and developing new control systems, Testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems.
• Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements.
Understand client requirements, identify and address control parameters, engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately within budget.
• Knowledge on PLC, LabVIEW is must.
• Knowledge on Manufacturing Traceability system (End to End) & Industrial 4.0 is preferable.
• Basic Programming Knowledge on SQL to Query and manipulate the data from server is preferable.
• Knowledge to perform Error Debugging & Modification in existing PLC & LabView source code. (must).
• Have experience on handling global software and installed with flawless launch.
• Support manufacture, build and validation of systems which include Pneumatics, Servos, VFD’s, relays, Communication networks, touchscreens, printers, scanners and robotic integration. (must).
• Trouble shooting and creation of new and existing programming on DC tool (Bosch, Atlas Copco etc.) (must).
• Fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection and communications systems.
• Good knowledge of analysis tools (cycle-time, PFMEA, machine efficiency calculation).
• Good knowledge of general office computer tools (word processing, spreadsheets, office communications)
• Fair knowledge of Safety and Ergonomic regulations by law.
• Develop RFQ of new equipment and existing projects for improvements.
• Basic knowledge on APQP & PPAP.
Qualification
• 5 to 6 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• Bachelors in EEE, ECE or Mechatronics Engineering
