Job Description

Role : Web/Application Server Administrator

Experience : 3+ years

Responsibilities

Install and configure web and application server (such as Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss, etc.)
Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of web and application servers
Configure and manage security settings (such as SSL certificates, access controls, firewalls, etc.) to protect the web server and applications
Manage web and application server logs and analyze server metrics to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance
Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift Container Platform and on Virtual Machines
Managing of Service Accounts, Image Policies, Security Context Constraints.
Manage Project space and resource quota on demand and Controlling access to OpenShift resources.
Allocating Persistent storage to pods.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and optimize application performance
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for web and application server administration
Provide technical support and assistance to other IT teams and end-users

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in web and application server administration
Strong knowledge of web server software (such as Apache, Nginx, IIS, etc.) and application server software (such as Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.)
Experience with server monitoring and performance optimization tools (such as Nagios, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.)
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, etc.)
Understanding of security best practices and experience with security configurations (such as SSL certificates, firewalls, access controls, etc.)
Experience in deploying ,managing and troubleshooting application in Openshift container platform
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Ansible , Terraform and Jenkins
Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools
Strong knowledge in OpenShift Container Platform
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
