Job Description

Seeking candidates for a full time Librarian role to lead and oversee the complete operations of Library functions, with below required skills.

Desire to meet and serve the library’s user community

Ability to make administrative decisions, interpret policies, and supervise staff

Ability to motivate, establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors, volunteers and other community agencies

Ability to organize job duties and work independently

Ability to develop new or revised systems, procedures, and work flow

Creativity to develop and implement library programs and services

Positive attitude toward library users

Knowledge of computers, the internet, and commercially available library software

Knowledge of the philosophy and techniques of library service

Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present ideas clearly and concisely with excellent written and oral communication

Demonstrated knowledge of library materials and resources

Qualifications

Masters or PhD in Library Science

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a Librarian with a corporate.
