Boston Consulting Group Hiring for KT – Research Contractor at Mumbai Full Time
WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are seeking a strong candidate who can support our Knowledge Team (KT). This team supports consultants providing analysis to drive insight for India based clients and their business issues across industries. They use an extensive collection of internal and external resources and tools/methodologies in this process.
You will be required to support the KT with various research related activities, such as:

Supporting content development efforts – industry overview decks, industry updates (regulatory, qualitative trends, partnerships, products etc.)

Conducting database research – primary and secondary
-
Conducting basic desktop research requests on the industry/specific topics
-
Completing pre-defined templates with appropriate data/information
-
Summarizing and packaging of key learnings from existing materials
YOU’RE GOOD AT
- Providing customized data and research leveraging multiple source
- Gathering, synthesizing, and running basic analysis on data
-
Ensuring data exhaustiveness
-
Communicating and proactive in sharing of task/work updates
-
Understanding of key financial terminologies and basic ratio analysis
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor’s/Master’s /CA degree from a reputed university with demonstrated high academic achievement
-
Understanding of Financial Services, Healthcare or Tech terminologies, analytical metrics, data sources will be an added advantage
-
Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to create and structure PowerPoint presentations and proficient in Excel
-
Accuracy, attention to detail and adherence to committed timelines

Strong work ethic, service-mentality, and a collaborative / team-player mindset

Effective written & verbal communication

Strong organization and prioritization skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
As a contractor you will extensively collaborate with India-focused Knowledge Team members focusing on Financial Services, Healthcare and Tech topics. Work may also involve some direct interaction and tie-ins with India consultants. The India-focused Knowledge team comprises of more that 30 members deeply embedded in India-based client work as well as development of IP, PoVs and publications for their respective Practice Areas and topics.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.
BCG’s Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to be staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
