WHAT YOU’LL DO

Tooling and Config Management Squad is seeking a candidate for a Lead DevOps Engineer role to be an integral part of our agile team. The incumbent for this role will help select and execute the procurement, hardening of various DevOps tools/solutions integrating with other systems, optimizing the persona onboarding process and other initiatives. The candidate must be open minded and interested in continuous learning, while being curious and unafraid to ask questions. He/She must be willing to innovate and initiate change, discover new solutions and present new ideas. He/She must work well in a global team environment and collaborate well with peers and stakeholders.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

You have lots of passion for DevSecOps Tooling, cloud platforms and automation. At the same time, you also think of how to improve the business / processes and where and how you can utilize your skills to help streamline the current state of engineering & infrastructure. You should also have a relentless focus on delivering superior client service. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience with Procurement and hardening of DevOps tools
• Knowledge of Docker containers and hosting them on Kubernetes clusters
• Being on top of the latest security best practices and how to implement strong security / DevSecOps
• Automating and proactively improving operations around environment provisioning, installation, upgrade and maintenance
• Setting up CI/CD Pipelines to automate builds and deployments using Git Actions/Jenkins

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field
• At least 9+ year of relevant work experience in DevOps maintaining and managing pipelines
• Experience and proven success in working with fast moving, globally distributed tech teams and going above and beyond to make things happen
• Experience in deploying/maintaining infrastructure platforms & software solutions (ideally AWS)
• Experience building and deploying stateful and stateless AWS/Azure Applications
• Experience working on cloud-based services (including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) with a solid understanding of continuous integration, delivery and deployment challenges, Configuration management best practices for developing and deploying cloud applications
• Deep understanding of latest DevOps tooling and practices
• High proficiency with monitoring tools
• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders
• Excellent knowledge of technical and infra architectures (hosting, security, Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with managing Infra including designing HA, Backup and Restore, DR
• Bash/PowerShell Scripting (CloudFormation, Azure Resource Templates, Terraform) and automation skills.

You will be a member of the Tooling and Config Management Squad. You will have significant responsibility in building, maintaining and improving our DevOps tooling stack as well as providing world-class service to our stakeholders.
