Responsible for supporting a wide range of business activities supporting through the development and delivery of the relevant agenda, including performance reporting through various reporting methods to drive business interventions to improve value delivery and using advanced technical capabilities, identify process improvement opportunities, including the development of metrics and reporting to realize improvement potential, and support/manage teams delivering the prioritized initiatives/projects, to help the organization achieve its initiatives.
Job Advert
The purpose of this role is to:

• Lead the Ethics and Compliance (E&C) agenda for Castrol India Limited, create awareness, processes and trainings as required.
• Ensure that concerns raised are investigated in a timely manner and due actions are taken. Trained investigation resources are made available, and awareness is created.
• Interface with internal auditors to ensure audit plan and IFC testing plan is agreed, audits completed and all actions arising out of the same are dealt with due engagement with the Country Leadership Team and Audit Committee. This will support the Clause 49 CEO/ CFO certification to the stock exchange on design and operating effectiveness of controls on reported numbers.
• Support Vice President, India on strategic projects and coordinate strategy refresh in line with the Global strategy timelines. To coordinate related Board engagement as required working with finance and company secretarial and other teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Accountable for timely and quality Internal Audit and IFC assertions for Castrol India as a listed company.
• To advise and influence senior leadership co- ordinate investigations in a timely manner with due alignment from BI, Control, Legal and E&C teams in the region. To be part of the cross functional panel to hear responses to Show Cause Notices and give counsel on the right course of action keeping in mind COC objectives.
• To be the Ethics and Compliance (E&C)Leader and develop, implement a systematic approach through the embedding of relevant E&C and OMS elements, ensuring appropriate risk reviews are undertaken appropriately.
• Responsible for ensuring best practice corporate governance and upholding highest
  • standards of ethics, integrity and compliance.
• Support compliance to the Ethics & Compliance Agenda for Castrol India and support Ethics
  • & Compliance Committee meetings in terms of proposing relevant agenda and ensure focus
  • on relevant issues by the CLT.
• Support the VP India to drive Castrol global\PU\market specific projects as relevant for business development
• Help to coordinate with internal teams for designing the Board engagement pack for VP India, with relevant business insights

Education and Experience

• Post Graduate degree / Management degree/ Professional qualification with 10+ years of experience in a sales / marketing organization with ability to work with senior leadership / external stake holders.
• Track record of experience in leading Internal audit for listed entity, driving Business integrity agenda and E&C agenda with multiple stakeholders.
• Good understanding of lubricants business in India.
• Formal training and experience on E&C initiatives preferred
• Formal training on investigations (desired)
• Good understanding of BP reporting, accounting processes and control systems (desired)
