Description & Requirements:
Linux Administrator includes administration of VMware infrastructure, along with the planning and expansion into AWS and Azure based cloud environments. The person will utilise quality systems and methods that ensure high reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction. Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills are an absolute.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of the core Linux Operating System and with it the ability to address emergent issues and introduce proactive changes to enhance stability of corporate systems.
Ability to convey technical plans, requirements, and features to the business at large with ease of understanding, as well as a robust technical understanding of the underlying WAN/LAN data networks and network infrastructure which underpin delivery of corporate solutions.
Proven ability to function autonomously where required, but also to actively engage with the IT Team at large to deliver professional solutions.
Ability to handle client interactions professionally and exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills
What You Will Bring To The Table:
Have 5+ years of experience.
In-depth knowledge of Linux based systems, Red Hat/CentOS and Debian experience is required.
Professional certifications in any Linux strand would be highly regarded.
rating at least 5 years in a similar role(s) and the successful practical application of the afore mentioned skills, along with a record of progression throughout IT industry role
