Job Title: Analyst III, BCF Workiva Admin

The BCF Manager, Workiva Admin for BMS will be a highly collaborative member of the Finance business team. This exceptional team member will support BMS’s business controls activities in BMS’s Hyderabad CoE, and demonstrate the following attributes:

• Exceptional expertise in financial and operational controls

• Deep understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and industry dynamics

• Outstanding ability to forge strong partnerships across the organization to provide insights and guidance to cross-functional teams

• Open communication and cooperation to ensure BCF activities are executed seamlessly

Successful candidates will possess excellent leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver exceptional results.

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience is required.

The position will be based in the BMS’s Hyderabad Location (expected 50% in-person).

Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:

Workiva administration

• Manages administration of Workiva compliance platform; configures, optimizes, and maintains platform (including use access, templates, and workflows)

• Prepares reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis

• Ensures compliance by BCF team members with established closing calendar

• Implements and manages security measures within Workiva to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with BMS policies and regulations

• Provides technical guidance for end users, addressing any issues or questions

• Create and maintain documentation on Workiva configurations, best practices, and procedures

• Actively influences the identification of continuous improvement opportunities, investigating and resolving technical issues related to Workiva

Relationship management and teaming

• Holds self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy

Risk management

• Articulates material risks and opportunities and takes an active role in designing and executing response or contingency plans

Degree/Certification/Licensure

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or CA / CPA preferred.

Experience – Responsibility and minimum number of years

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience

• Experience managing compliance platforms, preferably Workiva

• Compliance and controls experience within the pharmaceutical industry preferred

• Public accounting experience preferred

Competencies – knowledge, skills, abilities, other

• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python)

• Mastery of the Workiva platform, including Wdesk, and in-depth knowledge of its features and capabilities.

• Ability to navigate, configure, and troubleshoot issues within the platform

• Knowledge of key accounting processes and systems

• Fluency in written and spoken English

• Strong oral and written communication skills
