Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Front-end Java Developer to support a BMS Value, Access and Payment analytics application that is critical to our business operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining, improving and modernizing this application built on Java platform.

Responsibilities:

Develop, Support and improve existing intranet web application using Java platform. This role’s primary responsibilities include development and support of the Front-end (UI) part of application.

Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams and business analysts to identify, analyze, and implement application efficiencies and new capabilities to support business process

Customize and configure application to meet business requirements

Communicate directly with team members and stakeholders to confirm requirements and clarify business rules

Document modifications of pre-existing development and new development for peer reference, knowledge transfer, and SDLC

Develop and maintain process models, workflows, forms, and reports

Support system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting

Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders

Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards, policies, and regulations

Continuously improve processes and application based on feedback and business requirements

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in developing Java Front-end applications using JavaScript (JS), HTML, CSS and XML.

Familiarity with full stack Java development is a plus

Solid technical background and experience in reporting, Business Intelligence, MIS applications

Ability to understand and implement solutions in support of physical data models necessary to support business reporting initiatives

Design, develop, test, and support Oracle stored procedures, functions

Strong Experience in software development

Familiarity with system integrations and APIs

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Understanding of agile development methodologies

Understanding of SQL and experience writing SQL queries is a plus

Ability to identify and troubleshoot defects in software applications.
