Job purpose

Handling Maintenance. Experience in packing machine (TOW and Balloon Pack) is preferred

Key Job Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver products and services
  
• Maintain Equipment Uptime
  

Assess the nature of breakdown and diagnose fault. Allocate crew or involve external party or supplier if required. Arrange for spares. Verify completion of the job and working condition of machine.

• Performance Indicator
  

1. % reduction in downtime and laminate losses

2. Meantime between Failures (MTBF)

3. Meantime to Repair (MTTR)

4. Feedback on Service by Manufacturing

5.Adherence to the sales plan & reduction of the processing cost

• Coordinate for Materials and Services
  

Coordinate repair and maintenance work done by external parties and ensure procurement of required spares. Support the Processing of bills of the vendors.

• Provide Engineering Support
  

Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and checklists. Involve in the development and indigenization of imported spares, Undertake developmental activities in the areas of technology upgradation and automation in order to reduce downtime of equipment and contribute to engineering development.

• Manage Production Activities
  

Support the manufacturing in meeting the sales plan and optimize the manufacturing cost

• Others
  

Plant Cost Control- Analyse consumption variances (PM & fuel), Identify root cause and plan for corrective action; devise permanent solutions for the same.

Statutory and Legal Compliance- Support manufacturing & Quality in statutory activities.

Scrap/ Waste Management – Identify the scrap/waste and arrange with purchase for periodic disposal.

Desired Competencies

Hands on experience of Packing machine maintenance, implementation of Preventive maintenance, Knowledge of all critical machines and utilities, spares and preventive maintenance schedules, Working knowledge of SAP, excel and PPT.

Education Qualification

• Diploma/B. Tech. in Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering
