• Raise Indents on the store as per production plan and deploy workmen to stations. Oversee the process of changeovers. Inspect mixing machines, oversee mixing activities and conduct sample checks; Check operating parameters periodically and adjust in case of deviation; Check and correct output for consistency, Decide on recyclability and identify root cause in case of mixing quality issues IN ORDER TO ensure mixing of dough as per recipe and quality parameters
• Check availability and preparedness of machines and ovens. Check and validate cutter settings, cleanliness and synchronization at every changeover. Periodically check process parameters like baking profile, burner conditions, oil spray or glazing unit effectiveness. Ensure all SOPs are established and maintained as per the recommendations of R&D, Quality issued throgu various means like manuals, through Q-Next initiatives and various drives like TQm and Kaizens etc.
• Periodically check shape, weight, gauge and appearance of biscuits and alter process settings to rectify. Ensure the product and process meets the specifications.In case of obvious deviation, authorize scrapping. Visually inspect rejected biscuits for recyclability and send for grinding. Check adherance to the recipe. Check variances and take actions to control them by ensuring wastages are minimized and are within the set company norms
• IN ORDER TO ensure cutting and baking of biscuits as per quality parameters.
• Analyze breakdown and inform maintenance; Decide the mode of repair along with maintenance; Direct shift fitters in carrying out the necessary repairs; Verify running condition and takeover from maintenance; Make the entries in the shift activity log book IN ORDER TO ensure minimization of machine downtime and production loss.
• Segregating biscuits for recycling and submission for approval; Analyse and communicate the problems to avoid recurrence; Decide on action plan and raise record IN ORDER TO ensure outgoing products are as per meet quality standards.

• Quality Audit- Stop production and take corrective action based on quality complaints
• Performance Management- Attend pre and post BAT analysis and discussion with supervisor
• Learning and Development – Identifying training needs of workmen and conducting training
• Equipment and Process Up gradation- Commissioning new machines and validating performance
• Consumer Complaint Handling- undertake root cause analysis, decide on action to be taken, analyse the action taken for desired result
• Review and Reporting – Attend production meeting, quality meeting, other meeting as and when required
