The Digital Marketing team serves as an internal agency partner to build a cohesive digital marketing experience for line of business marketers across the organization. The Content Specialist should be a highly motivated professional who executes with excellence and communicates effectively with a global team. Position Description: Broadridge is seeking a Content Specialist for our rapidly expanding digital marketing operations. He/She will work alongside a team of web developers, marketing and brand teams on several corporate websites. The role will be responsible for publishing webpages with marketing and branding content on our multiple corporate websites and ensure search visibility of the corporate sites. Responsibilities:

• Understand the Broadridge.com web templates and configurations to publish webpages with content provided by business marketing and corporate teams
• Use the enterprise content management system (CMS) to edit/build engaging and responsive web and campaign landing pages
• Optimize pages for organic search and implement the latest search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
• Engage in extensive keyword research and suggest content optimization opportunities
• Effectively manage a busy pipeline of high-priority content requests
• Follow up with developers, quality team and marketing stakeholders for updates
• Work with the back-end web developers to provide best-in-class user experience for site visitors and adhere to the website’s underlying logic
• Employ industry best practices related to the CMS
• Ensure the website functions and consistent across devices
• Work with QA to ensure all requirements in the QA checklist are met prior to publishing pages
• Evaluating page/site mockups and perform thorough requirement analysis
• Effectively communicate with a global Digital Team, Marketing and business partners, including written and conversational communications
• Report on project status and escalate critical issues
• Propose ideal / alternate solutions to the customer’s business need, when appropriate, to create user-friendly web experiences
• Articulate technical and business concepts with confidence
• Work on development projects and special assignments in support of day-to-day digital marketing operations
• Participate in weekly conference calls with the global Digital Marketing Team, including daily check-in calls
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to client questions / concerns

Qualifications

• MBA/BA or Mass Communication degree
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Content Management and Digital Marketing roles
• Experience in managing content via any CMS platform
• Knowledge of web/app development best practices or digital media/graphic design
• Experience in collaborating with technical and functional teams on digital marketing projects
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and SEO tools such as MOZ and SEM Rush, etc.
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JQUERY and responsive web design is a plus
• Experience with large, complex, and multi-phased software implementations, agile methodology a plus
• In-depth knowledge of digital trends in websites/apps design and development
• Work independently and be self-directed
• Ability to monitor content on websites; strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
