BUCO Hiring for Cluster Procurement Manager – MacNeil Epping at North District Full Time

To create and execute Cluster Procurement strategies through effective negotiations around costs and selling price and ensure market related product offerings in line with the Cluster Procurement strategy.

Strategy Development

• To create and execute National Procurement strategies in line with the Group Procurement Strategy and budgets and business objectives
• Manage and implement strategies with aim of maintaining efficient stock levels and appropriate SOPs/Best Practices
• To ensure that the Merchandising portfolio are in line with all stipulated/set procedures and processes
• Market Intelligence gathering – assess / ensure business competitiveness
• Plan, co-ordinate and execute regional promotions

Building Stakeholder Relationships /Negotiation

• To collaborate with Category Managers and Product Specialists to ensure execution of category strategies, optimise opportunities, and resolve and improve supply chain issues
• To proactively liaise and engage with supplier network and internal stakeholders (Group Merchandising team, Store Managers and Store Buyers) to manage expectations and facilitate delivery
• To collaborate with, and assist and guide Branch/Sales Manager in planning and executing promotional and advertising activities
• Assist Cluster Manager with corporate accounts
• Negotiate base prices, regional deals, forward orders, and KVI pricing

Supplier Chain Management

• To ensure that all stipulated procedures and process are followed in listing all Suppliers

Team Management

• To lead, develop, motivate, and manage the performance of the team to ensure an optimally skilled, motivated, and high-performance team
  

To maintain quality control

• Ensure the product measure up with the value proposition of the brands offered by the company

Grade 12(essential)

Relevant tertiary qualification (NQF5) ideally with a Procurement focus (desirable)

6-8 years’ experience in a similar position
