Work directly with application development and support teams to gather requirements and guide ELK implementation
Interface with customer teams to integrate application’s components with ELK to achieve maximum visibility
Collaborate with Business and IT to design and implement performance benchmarks for each application, and report results
Develop processes to proactively monitor and alert for critical metrics
Recommend additional integrations with other tools for improved monitoring
Verify monitoring tool configuration by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of configurations to ensure proper monitoring in production
This role requires individuals to be flexible about working during non-business hours, Europe & US shifts.

Primary Skills
Trained / Experienced on least one additional tool (Splunk, Appdynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic )
Experience with deployment configuration and customization of Agents on both Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Expert level knowledge on writing GROK patterns and logstash filters
DSL query writing experience and ability to generate reports using kibana
X-Pack implementation, including SSO / LDAP, Slack, Hipchat, service now, integrations
Hands on experience with scripting (bash, powershell, python)
Experienced in owning end to end responsibilities for implementation
Secondary Skills
ElasticStack certification
Exposure to cloud deployments on AWS and Azure
Exposure to other APM tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Nagios etc.)
Knowledge of VBScript, Python is a plus
