Strong knowledge of EMC PMAX, VMAX3, VPLEX and PURE Storage architecture and administration (CLI preferred)
Strong knowledge on local and remote replication including disaster recovery.
Strong Knowledge on CISCO MDS switches 9000 series (CLI preferred)
Strong knowledge on Hitachi NAS 4000 series and Dell EMC ISILON
Troubleshooting performance issues on SAN and Storage in co-ordination with system / DB / application teams.
Ability to present technical details in simple manner.
Participate in B2R for new technologies and ability to draft documents such as RACI, skill matrix. Operating guides for review.
Review monitoring & reports and take corrective actions and involve next level of support, vendors and/or other service line teams to ensure resolution of incidents & problems
Plan changes & tasks as necessary for upkeep, maintenance, upgrade & decommissioning of all supported Storage SAN hardware devices & software tools & applications
Setup discussions and meetings or participate in CAB meetings to ensure changes & change tasks are well represented to seek approvals to execute as per change task timelines
Ensure periodic document upkeep of all Work Instructions, architectural & landscape documentations and all other relevant documents required by account.
Review capacity & performance reports on periodic basis and generate & present reports to relevant stakeholders (customers, onshore leads, other service lines & vendors) to ensure optimal capacity & performance KPI’s are maintained
