About the role

Experienced professional in Data and Analytic Methods who works to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on Sustainability Efforts of Carrier. Leads in the collection of data across processes and products in scientific and mathematical principles. Leads in the preparation of datasets and communicates results to multiple teams within department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and report key performance metrics to management

• Using automated tools to access data from primary and secondary sources.

• Developing and maintaining databases, data systems & monitoring the dataflow pipelines & conduct tests periodically for report consistency.

• Providing support on daily activities of data scrubbing according to the requirements

• Performing analysis to assess data quality & fixing it in cooperating with relevant stakeholders.

• Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct interpretation problems.

• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.

• Develop and communicate data insight using PowerPoint.

• Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

• Working with programmers, engineers, and leadership teams to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.

• Support and enhance Automation capabilities.

• Conduct test & review reports before releasing to stakeholders.

• Develop & maintain standard works & process.

Experience:

• 8-10 years of related experience required.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Fluent in English as determined by hiring manager.

• Strong Microsoft Office Suite tools

• Strong hands-on experience in Advanced Excel & VB Scripts

• Strong hands-on experience in Power Query & Power Automate

• Strong hands-on experience in developing visualizations using Power BI

• Experience in python programming

• Minitab or similar statistical experience preferred.

• Strong relentless root cause analysis skills

• Process or product improvement experience is preferred.

• Must be a self-directed/self-starter professional.

• Must be able to manage multiple priorities.

• Responsible for designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and developing models.

• Conducts data analysis and design algorithms.

• Communicates with team to identify business requirements and expected oCarrieromes.

• Works with business analysts to recommend suggestions of products for clients.

• Selects relevant sources of information through the suggestions of subject matter experts.

• Responsible for identifying client analytics problems and developing solutions to achieve results.

• Performs experimental design approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses.

• Responsible for identifying the appropriate algorithms to discover patterns.

• Responsible for making moderate improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of work area.

Requirements

Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience

Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work

University Degree or equivalent

A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience

OR

An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
