JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you will do:

You will be a key contributor to the design, development and implementation of Mobile applications for large scale Building Automation Systems applications. This position will focus on new development of applications as well as maintenance and stewardship of existing applications. This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with a team of engineers to design and develop robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.

• We’re a collaborative bunch, so you’ll contribute to all phases of the SDLC, from design to implementation, testing and release

• You will work closely with Scrum teams to deliver products on time with quality

• You’ll also coordinate with leads to understand and maintain an in-depth understanding of the current and upcoming requirements for proposed releases

• We work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time.

How you will do it:

You should be hands-on working closely with your peers in development and testing to deliver to customer requirements. You will be responsible for below critical functions in helping we design leading products

• Design and develop new features according to product functional specification and design requirements.

• Able to co-ordinate with QA team on test plans and strategies.

• Able to meet project plans for application development activities of a project; prioritizing work to accomplish demanding changes.

• Ensuring defects are reviewed on a regular basis and resolved in the required timeframe

• Must be aware and able to work in Agile, Incremental or spiral development methodology.

What we look for:

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA

• 5-8 years relevant experience on Mobile development on Android and iOS platform.

• Must have experience in Android Java / Kotlin/Swift Languages

• Must have experience in hybrid mobile app development i.e. React Native

• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

• Debugging / Bug fixing and improving application performance

• Strong experience in dealing with different tools (Android Studio / XCode) and development methodologies (Agile, TDD)

• Preferred knowledge of communicating with other devices peripherals over Bluetooth / NFC / RFID / WiFi / Other communication mechanisms.

• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

• Must have ability to organize large-scale front-end mobile application codebases using common mobile design patterns

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
