Full Job Description
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Learning Management System Administrator & E-Learning Specialist who is passionate about sparking connections between people and content. You will be responsible for the administration of both Catchpoint’s employee and customer learning management systems as well as the development and implementation of e-learning programs.
In this role, you will be a key player as we look to elevate our e-learning environment. Projects you’ll be working on will have an impact companywide as well as serve our customer portfolio. We need an expert in LMS administration and e-learning trends that can bring the latest and greatest to Catchpoint.
Responsibilities:
Leads the effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of the LMS
Supports tools, content, technologies, roles, users, security, internal system notifications, and other instructional technology user accounts.
Creates and executes a long-term plan for learning management system growth and improvement.
Writes and maintains procedure and policy documentation to ensure the security and integrity of the LMS and related systems.
Designs and implements performance measurement system to track data and drive improvement
Analyzes data, tracks training completion, and measures performance; recommends solutions to meet organizational and program objectives
Designs, develops and launches e-learning for staff and customers.
Manages the testing and evaluation of new features and tools that integrate with the LMS by facilitating and managing vendor vetting.
Creates systems and workflows to ensure that all course resources are properly set up and available.
Provides structure and keeps track of all e-learning, help resources, training, instructional videos, how-to guides, and FAQs related to the usage of the learning management system, instructional technology, and documents relevant data about each external learning tool.
Establishes and configures the LMS, including new courses.
Ensures efficient and effective resolution to course problems and trends by creating and maintaining the system and process workflows.
Tracks usage of LMS and courses and the learning management system features to provide reports on trends and creates and executes a plan to address those issues and trends.
Submits and follows up with the LMS platform (360Learning) on existing tickets, optimizing use, and troubleshooting issues.
Establishes and maintains relationships with the LMS customer success manager and solutions architect.
Facilitates the escalation of and resolution for IT issues connected to the learning management system and/or external tools.
Provides support and management of the Catchpoint Microsoft SharePoint sites and accounts, including site configuration, custom features deployment, bandwidth monitoring, managing space, and maintaining backups.
Requirements:
Background in instructional or educational technology
Minimum 3 years of learning management system maintenance and administration.
Technical certifications or coursework related to LMS administration.
Advanced proficiency in integrating external tools into the learning management system
E-learning experience
Experience designing IT or technical training materials and content including instructor-led materials, online/e-learning modules, job aids, knowledge assessments, and other training materials
Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite
Demonstrated ability to create systems and processes that support the effective management of the LMS.
Minimum 3 years of experience in project management
Proven ability to effectively communicate with SMEs, staff, and senior leaders
