Job Description:
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Engineering degree (advance degree is desired) with 10 – 15 years of industry experience in engineering design/development function preferably in engine domain /cooling system / components.
Engineering degree in mechanical / production Engineering / Automobile branches are preferrable / master in thermal Engineering/ IC Engine
Desired technical skills:
Cooling components performance Analysis – cooler or Heat exchanger selection / technology / construction details/ Fan types & performance / Water pump selection. Exposure or hands on experience in tools – COOL1 or KULI is highly preferrable.
CAE / FEA basic understanding / results plots understanding is required.
Strong understanding and hands on experience in NPI process / product launch / APQP / PPAP process.
Supplier collaboration – cooling system / fabrication / Heating, Ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
Product Knowledge: Radiator / Intercooler / Aftercooler / Fan and clutch / Compressor / Condenser / water pump / Oil cooler.
Design skills sets – CREO hands on experience / GD&T / Fabrication module
Electric vehicle / machine basic architecture knowledge and cooling components requirements knowledge based on application.
Product validation: Cooling package signoff – machine and bench level performance check hands on experience./ Wind tunnel or on field test experience.
Strong understanding on cooler development process – manufacturing with various types of technology cooler/ Heat exchanger.
Additional required skills:
Strong communication skills -Written and verbal communication.
Decision-making / Time managements/ Coaching or mentorship for the group.
Previous team leader experience is desirable to this position.
Relocation is available for this position.
