Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

To develop and electronically author Service information(Disassembly and Assembly Information) for delivery via the Service Information System (SIS) to dealers and customers worldwide.

Utilize the ACM (Advanced content management) system to develop and electronically author Disassembly and Assembly information used to service Caterpillar Machines, Engines and Work tools. Assignments support NPI, regular Product changes and non-current product design. Service information that are produced by the Service information developers have significant impact on efficiency and profitability of dealer service operations.

Continuous interaction with Mechanical Lab professionals, Project leaders, Product design and Service support Engineers and the use of a variety of corporate systems and resources.

BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with 03 to 04 years or equivalent accredited associate degree with maximum 4 to 5 years of job related experience in creating/handling Disassembly and Assembly Manuals.

Experience in Servicing/ Maintenance/Trouble shooting/Technical writing in Earth moving industry or equivalent. Person worked with Caterpillar Machines, Engines and Work Tools will be given first preference.

Candidates with good knowledge in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings, experience in 3D modelling tools and Knowledge of Service Tools and applications are preferred.

Self-driven, able to complete the task given with less supervision.

Good mechanical/electrical aptitude, Personnel & Product Safety mindset, customer focus, initiative, planning & organizing with good communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential.

Fully conversant with ACM, TEAMCENTER VisMockup, CANVAS and Creo Illustrate
