Job Description

Role

• Report to the Lead Engineer on all aspects of the Operations and Business. You will duly fill the Daily activity report (DAR) and any other internal document / reports for the Management.
• At the outset, you are hired to understand and disseminate the Engineering and design aspects of mining and recycling process machines and ensure on time and quality deliverables on designs, drawings and design estimates on optimal level to the best of your abilities.
• Produce cabling, wiring and block schematic drawings, wiring harness diagrams of main C&I components using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Arriving at Requirements and specifications for Control/MCC/PCC/Instrumentation panels including component selection and architecture design
• Select the appropriate sensors/transducers based on Product design and decide on selection of drives (Induction Motors, Servo Motors, VFD etc.)
• Technically co-ordinate on functional design with customers, vendors, consultants and other partners (both internal and external) and incorporate electrical/control circuit requirements for other mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and safe-guard Keepmining’s Design and intellectual interest.
• Provide design and Engineering solutions for on-field problems.
• Extend technical support to Installation, Commissioning, Troubleshooting and Service activities.
• Co-ordinate with application Engineering, sales, after sales and manufacturing both internally and externally and increase / develop wisdom in Keepmining.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely release of drawings/designs/Specifications for Electricals related parts and assemblies. Ensure OTD (On time delivery) and FTR (First time right)
• Ensure Keepmining achieves the set time targets for design releases through PDM.
• Ensure component selection based on functional safety and regulatory compliances. (RoHS,CE etc,)
• Ensure design support for providing solutions and troubleshooting to on-field problems given by sales, aftersales and application Engineers.
• Ensure core technical know-hows/know-whys are retained to protect company’s interest.
• Convert any supplier drawings to Keepmining’s Engineering templates for providing the same to customers and for company’s future reference and perusal.
• Assist in production Engineering activities for Keepmining’s future ventures.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest state-of-the-art technologies pertaining to the company’s business and endeavor to incorporate these into the company’s technology offerings.
• Technically assist in creating marketing tools and contents for various marketing activities.
