Job Description

Roles and Responsibility –

• Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
• Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.
• Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
• Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval.
• Designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings.
• Analytical and mathematical mind, as well as expert problem-solving skills. Experience in leadership, management, and strong interpersonal communication are also essential. Many projects require a strong grasp of physics and three-dimensional conceptual skills
• Building structures based on technical specifications
• Tracking project progress and reporting on results
• Good command in structural analysis & design software. Should have experience in co-ordinate for preparing Fabrication Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, Connection Drawings.
• Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications & ensure durability
• The position is responsible for approval and checking of Structural systems suggested by structural consultants to ensure stability of the planned structure and timely transmission of approved structural drawings.
• Design & detailing of RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) & Steel elements
• Coordination with structural consultants and project engineering teams for finalization of structural system and design development drawings
• Controlling and quantifying consumption of structural quantities like concrete, steel, etc.
• Assist monitoring on site construction activities of projects to ensure conformity.
• Standardization of structural systems for customized models of low cost housing and affordable housing.
• Carry out checks on the work carried out by graduate engineers and CAD technicians.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned tasks between all disciplines.
• Ensure designs meet Clients requirements and compliance with relevant Codes of Practice.
• Keep abreast of latest trends and technologies in the Industry.
• Qualifications and Requirements B.Tech/M.Tech Civil/Mechanical Experience of 5 years in handling Residential projects.
