Oracle Cerner is glad to hire a Senior Data Migration Architect. As a Senior Data Migration Architect, you will be responsible to lead data migration build design and implementation activities. Develop test script strategies for each client project. Provide tier 3 troubleshooting and issue resolution for data migration uploads. Contribute to migration community documentation and mentor data migration engineers. Define project plans and own the outcome of task completion. Manage changes and project activities and communicate with impacted associates or clients. Identify and facilitate learning activities for data migration engineers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

• At least 2 years data acquisition, data migration and/or other data engineering work experience, including the design, development, implementation and/or support of data models, data architectures, data warehouses and/or databases

• At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 years of SQL work experience

• At least 6 years of CCL/Scripting work experience

• At least 4 years of Healthcare domain/Cerner Millennium work experience with good troubleshooting skills.

• At least 3 years of EMR data migration and FSI work experience.

Expectations

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

• Willing to travel up to 20% as needed

• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
