Job Description

• A leadership role with one of India’s leading iron product producer
• Delivering on high scale green and brown field projects

About Our Client

• Our client is one of India’s leading iron products producer with a pan India as well as a strongly growing global customer base

The position reports directly into the CEO and is responsible for entire Projects Portfolio of the organisation.

• Responsible for efficient project deliveries, development of advanced new projects and execution of overall growth schemes especially in iron making division(IMD), blast furnace/mini blast furnace and sinter plant
• Provide technical leadership to drive business and programs towards quality products while ensuring cost and product competitiveness
• Selection of latest technology by evaluating and negotiating with technology suppliers & OEMs to optimise CAPEX & OPEX.
• Accountable for selection and ordering of equipment while maintaining quality, technical specifications and monitoring site installation and commissioning
• Provide technical leadership in achieving industry 4.0 standards by implementing significant application of automation and robotics

The Successful Applicant

• A strong technical background with Bachelor’s and preferably Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and relevant 25-30 Years of experience in iron making and producing or similar sector
• Exposure of handling end-to-end large-scale projects in Blast Furnace/Mini Blast Furnace of capacity >100 m3 while ensuring critical success factors and timeline
• Proven track record managing internal stakeholders, vendor management and strong team management skills for effective communication between customers and Leadership Team
• A self-driven and motivated individual with excellent conflict management and collaboration skills to achieve high functioning teams
