ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced environmentBring their past experience to Install, Setup and Maintain new instances of Gitlab on AWS2. Develop features and improvements on our self-hosted GitLab with minimal guidance and support from other team members3. Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance4. Solve technical problems of large scope and complexity5. Craft scripts and code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code reviewRequired Qualifications1. A minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience in an Agile environment2. AWS Certification: Associate Developer or Associate Solutions Architect3. Working knowledge of IaC and automation. Example: CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.4. GitLab Certified System Admin Specialist5. Working experience with Python6. Working experience with Linux7. Basic working knowledge of Docker8. Great troubleshooting skills9. Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical and architectural problems and propose thorough iterative solutions10. Self motivated and self managing11. Experience with the GitLab product as a user or contributor12. Experience working in a global, distributed, or otherwise multi-cultural team13. Enterprise software company experience14.
