CHANEL Hiring for Accounts Payable at Delhi, Delhi, India Full Time

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be part of the Finance Department within our office located in Aerocity New Delhi.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Responsible for managing end to end finance and accounts activities including General Ledger Accounts, Closing & Reporting.
• Accounts Payable, Bank & Vendor Reconciliations and Charging expenses to accounts and cost centres.
• Responsible for all intercompany transactions and intercompany payments

Vendor Reconciliation & Monitoring

• Verify vendor accounts, payments and resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies
• Monitor the petty cash accounting
• Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger
• Perform recordkeeping and prepare financial notes
• Keep informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting
• Bank reconciliation for open items
• Vendor reconciliation on quarterly basis

Expense Tracking & Operation Efficiency

• Maintain the tracker for all monthly expenses – Office and boutiques
• Book all the intercompany transaction and take care of all the intercompany payments
• Book provision at month end, quarter end and year end for proper closing of books and keep a track of the provisions
• Work on the calculation of the rental expense to be recognized in the books as per IFRS 16
• Keep a track of all the travel MIS for all the employees and plot the actual cost against the budget
• Monthly depreciation entries
• Ensure complete booking of the expenses at month end for proper recording of TDS and GST

Graduated with post degree in Finance, you have an experience of minimum 5 years in accounts payable within an international company.

You have strong analytical and organization skills, and you have a real sensitivity for Retail within a multicultural environment.

Your interpersonal, and communication skills combine with your rigor will be real asset to succeed in this position.

Agility with data-analysis tools (e.g., EXCEL…)
