Responsibilities:
The role holder will drive a complex Payments Operations function ensuring delivery of Service excellence to all Management, Stakeholders, Regulators and all Legal Authorities through the strong leadership and performance management of a team within a highly regulated and audited function
Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements.
Good knowledge in swift messages (MT 103, 202,199,192)
Achieve high level of productivity and error free processing.
Flexible in work, Priorities to meet business requirements with a constructive attitude
Ensuring all queries related to the process are sorted our in a timely basis
Good knowledge in MPP ( Manual payment processing).
Ensure all the internal controls and procedure are adhered.
Ensured all the transactions/activity processed within SLA.
Drive process improvements culture within the team. Identify and eliminate non value added steps in the process
Qualifications:
Previous relevant experience preferred
Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations
Effective verbal and written skills
Effective communication and analytical skills
8 to 9 years’ experience in payments.

Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
