Sr OpenShift Infrastructure Administrator

Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using OpenShift technologies.Implement, and manage OpenShift infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of OpenShift clusters.Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on best practices for deploying and managing OpenShift applications.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to OpenShift infrastructure and applications.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in OpenShift technologies and provide recommendations for improvement.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline.Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on OpenShift technologies and best practices.
Requirements of the OpenShift Administrator

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing, and managing OpenShift infrastructure.Strong expertise in OpenShift Container Platform, including experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of OpenShift clusters.Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Proficient in Linux system administration and scripting.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and team members.Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience in roles centered around infrastructure delivery (Cloud – Mainly Openshift infrastructure) with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Understanding of how specialization within area contributes to the business and of competitors’ products and services
Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline
Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Platform 4.x
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift configuration, implementation, troubleshooting and support
Experience with Openshift Operator lifecycle management, troubleshooting skills
Experience with VMware technologies such as vCenter/vSphere
Extensive experience of RedHat Enterprise Linux, CoreOS operating systems
Extensive knowledge of Docker Containers, Docker Registry and Docker Images build/deploy
Experience of docker image registry (Quay/Ceph) storage, Persistent Volume PV/PVC
Working experience of logging and metrics stacks such as Elasticseach, Kibana, filebeat, Kafka, Fluentd, Prometheus log metrics
Experience managing Openshift APIs, services, routes and Cluster configuration.
