The Agile Coach is a highly visible and impactful position that will serve to shepherd TTS Commercial Cards technical organization through a multi-year modern agile transformation. Along the way you will work with our agile delivery teams to build proven industry practices and scalable processes for agile product delivery. In addition, you will coach our delivery teams to enable continuous improvement, provide transparency for agile transformation risks and overall progress to stakeholders, and act as a change agent to reinforce the agile mindset shift. Ultimately, you will play a key role in the long-term strategy across the entire organization, helping our teams to deliver better products in a faster, more efficient manner
Responsibilities:
Affect change by acting as a guide for agile teams during TTS Commercial Cards multi-year agile transformation
Work with stakeholders, existing Agile Coaches, and functional leads to define and execute upon strategies for adopting agile ways of working
Perform hands-on coaching activities for your teams, including but not limited to:
Advise leaders on how to organize, mobilize, and launch agile teams,
Influence process execution by guiding product owners and mentoring team members,
Drive continuous process improvement strategies enabling efficient, effective, sustainable and measurable delivery
Report on patterns and anti-patterns in intra-team agile dynamics:
Identify patterns for reinforcement and opportunities for team growth
Establish feedback loops enabling trust, phycological safety, transparency and customer feedback
Design and lead training workshops on the pragmatics of Lean-Agile values, principles, and practices
Collaborate with our client organizations to adopt sustainable Lean-Agile capabilities and processes
Coach and mentor colleagues in agile values and principles
Qualifications:
Mindset consistent with Scrum Core Values: openness, respect, focus and commitment.
3+ years working in an agile environment as a coach
3+ years working in an agile environment as a Product Owner, Scrum Master
5+ years working in an agile culture with deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Agile frameworks.
Demonstrated experience coaching at least 2 agile teams concurrently, through a multi-year agile transformation.
Exposure to a large-scale enterprise agile transformation with demonstrated experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaling frameworks and deep understanding of agile values and principles
Demonstrated experience facilitating collaborative sessions, managing customer expectations, and ensuring work is aligned with the enterprise goals and objectives.
Understanding of the technical enablers of agile delivery and how they operate within an agile organization (e.g., CICD, DevOps)
Expertise with agile tools suites including JIRA, Atlassian, or similar agile management tooling .
Experience with agile testing and technical engineering techniques (TDD, BDD) and DevSecOps tools a plus
Experience coaching at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
Scaled Agile (SAFe) SPC Certification or equivalent Scrum Coach certification
Scrum Master, Product Owner certifications
Computer Science background
