The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Description

• Abinitio Senior Developer (C10) – ETL

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Information technology/Computer Science

• 4+ years of strong experience in Abinitio ETL development and have exposure in multiple ETL project deliveries.

• Should have knowledge on Abinitio – EME, PDL and Metaprogramming.

• Should have strong hands on experience in Shell scripting.

• Should have knowledge on Oracle scripting (procedures/Functions) and well versed with PL/SQL.

• Experience in Autosys scheduling or similar scheduling tools.

• Should be hands on with data modeling

• Should be well versed with data warehouse concepts.

• Experience in SQL/DWH optimization techniques.

Desirable skills :

• Having knowledge on banking risk and compliance area will be added advantage.

Role requires :

• Hands-on Experience in Data warehousing, data analysis, database design and ETL concepts

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

• Ability to understand high level requirements and produce design which can be implemented.

• Ability to prioritize and manage schedules under tight, fixed deadlines

• Strong writing, communication, time-management, decision-making, and basic task organization skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
