The Business Senior Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
This is a leadership role for the P&R Technology Modernisation team with a critical mandate to own the end to end solution (Functional and Technical) for the Target State Platforms. You will face off to Product, Operations, Service and Technology to get buy-in for Standard Product definition and design and oversee the functional aspects of the delivery. You will manage a team of people and bring in a mindset change to drive the target state in a globally consistent manner. This requires strong technology know-how, understanding of TTS/P&R clients/business, as well as detailed technical understanding of Citi infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Lead integration of functions with understanding of client core business functions and partner with multiple senior management teams to meet goals and deploy new products and process enhancements
Solve the highest-impact, highest-profile problems with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards
Influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions) and communicate with external parties as needed
Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions as a technical expert in all development and implementation phases, providing in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions
Conduct management activities, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching and other duties and functions as assigned
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Experience and Skills :
Experience leading business and technical teams of resources and providing direction to senior business and technical stakeholders on functional and technical product roadmaps
Strong understanding of Payments Architecture, Payment Systems and Payment Messages is a key requirement
Experienced individual with strong understanding of application management, technology delivery and business analysis
Ability and experience of estimating complex business problems in the context of a broad landscape of technology, both from existing and market perspective
Excellent knowledge of core attributes of Payments & Receivables functional structures required
Senior presence and ability to operate at different levels (e.g., research/analysis, thought-partnership with seniors, presentations, interactions with partners, clients)
Exceptional strategic skills; ability to conceptualize and execute on the business and technology vision.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
