The Program Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.
ICG Technology Analyst Program Management Team is seeking an AVP Program Manager to work on the Citi’s ICG Technology Graduate Programs which is focused to attract, develop, engage and retain early career talent
in India.
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will be responsible for tracking, coordinating, managing and executing against the overall Technology Analyst Program strategy that aligned with the global structure and agreement.
Full end-to-end management of Full-time and Summer Analyst programs including: campus recruiting, onboarding, induction training, continuous training, performance review process, placement process, rotation activities and milestones. This role has a close working partnership with the business sponsor, business stakeholders (steering committee), HR Campus Recruitment, HR Advisors/Specialists and Analysts to develop and deliver best in class Analyst and Summer Analysts Program for early career talent.
Partner with the Campus Recruitment team to identify school teams, school lead, interviewers.
Work closely with Campus Recruitment team to ensure the posted Job Descriptions (JD) are aligned with the latest version of approved JDs
Actively engage with the Campus Recruitment, HR and Business Sponsor in identifying diversity strategy and challenges in India
Engage in campus recruiting activities (on-campus or in-house or virtual) including hackathons
Partner closely with Campus Recruitment and HR team to ensure new hire onboarding for analyst profile mapping are mapped correctly
Actively engage in Induction training content review and partnering with Campus Recruitment and Learning & Development team for Citi orientation activities and schedules, including continuous training for the Analysts
Actively engage with managers throughout the two-rotation cycle to impart best practices for managing and developing junior talent
Regular check-in with the Analysts, enhance the Analyst experience with Citi and improve the retention strategy
Drive the process improvement process, second rotation activities and other program milestones.
Reviewing the Job Descriptions that submitted by manager to ensure it’s challenging enough for the role; organize manager pitch or career fair; setup speed interview schedule; placement matching and communication
Manage final placement process including working with Business Unit Managers to confirm headcount for final placements
Implement a process to maintain Analyst Data
Serve as a key contact for program business sponsor, local steering committee, line managers and Analysts
Communicate updates as necessary to global program team, business sponsors, business steering committees, HR Recruitment Team and HR Advisors.
Develop subject matter expertise; advise and consult with the team, program business sponsor or other key stakeholders
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of othersand create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be someone familiar with the Technology Analyst Program, preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience in project or program management, campus recruitment or other relevant experience. Background in Technology would be an advantage.
Desire to be in a service-oriented environment with enthusiasm and high level of interest of program design and management
Ability to prioritize as needed while handling multiple time-sensitive projects and maintaining a high level of attention to details in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, writing and oral presentation skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels of management, including very senior interactions and expectations
Strong technical skills, including significant experience using Word, Excel and Power Point
Should also have:
Planning, prioritization, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to effectively build partnerships across all level of the organization
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable business advice
Strategic thinker and execution skills to enhance program structures and drive initiatives forward
Understanding of how different Citi systems and technologies interact
