The GFT Delivery Project Analyst/PMO is a critical integrated role that will ensure there is alignment of the GFT BOW across the EMEA Regulatory Reporting team.
The role requires an in-depth understanding of project management and PMO experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. The ideal candidate should be a fast learner and detail orientated with an understanding of the different Project management methodologies. Responsibility for coordinating across multiple teams, PMO reporting, senior stakeholder management and risk and dependency management. The candidate will be a individual contributor working with BA-PM’s & Tech Leads & Senior Stakeholder’s across EMEA Reg Reporting team.
Responsibilities:
Owns PMO related activities related to the GFT Book of Work delivery
Coordinates and disseminates information of process, policy and procedure changes and ensuring the successful completion of projects managed.
Ensures BoW (Book of Work) health with the Tech Leads, Program managers, BA-PM’s and Senior Leads to ensure healthy challenge and alignment across GFT
Coordinates with BA-PM’s & Technology Leads to ensure adherence to Citi PM policy
Manage BoW update requests and timely resolution of issues raised.
Identifies stakeholders in assigned Line of Business; build and manage relationships with each stakeholder – including hosting/facilitating regular weekly and monthly meetings with Senior Technology leads on BoW health and areas for improvement
Management of IPA/Spot & Health Check requests allowing Teams to focus on execution and delivery
Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues within established GFT programs of work.
Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.
Ensures timely delivery and closure of projects as defined within PTS (Project Tracking System)
Track to resolution and closure all risk and governance review assessment results. Work with the LOB on mitigating reoccurring findings from these assessments.
Directs the communication of status (Standard Status Reporting), issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
Directs the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed by the business.
Work with the Chief of Staff/Program Leads to drive the creation and setup of the yearly book of work
Identify and implement efficiencies across the organisation to simplify processes and procedures to assist PMs in focusing on execution and delivery
Conduct PMO sessions with BA-PM’s & Tech Leads on new Project Management processes & policies
Conducts weekly reviews with Tech Leads & BA-PM’s to review PTS BoW status
Regularly undertakes a review of processes, policies and procedures to identify process gaps and recommend process updates/ policy & procedure revisions associated with Project Management and Business Compliance.
Provides feedback to Project Management leadership regarding risk issues/business cases raised by specific business units
Collates communication items, investigate issues and ensure relevant communications are created in a timely clear and accurate manner.
Drafts and communicates any staff briefs, including system changes.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Management of central team reports related to Workforce Management, Hiring, vendor Management
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience within PMO function (business/technology) preferably within the financial services industry
Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as a Project Manager, PMO, managing strategic cross-functional projects
Previous program/project management, technology and/ governance management
PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plus
