Job Description

The Recon Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new enhance reconciliations solutions with the technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to recon systems analysis and configuring activities.

Responsibilities:

• 5-7 years of Banking domain experience

• Experience in recon tools like TLM Premium, Frontier.

• Experience in UNIX, PL/SQL is must. ETL tools knowledge is an added advantage

• Should be adaptive to learn new internal tools and technologies used in organization.

• Manages one or more teams through subordinate managers.

• Identifies areas for automation / process improvements and Implements best practices.

• Timely escalation of potential risk issues, revenue leakages etc. to senior management.

• Responsible for all training and development needs for assigned personnel.

• Work with business analysts and stakeholders and understand business requirement to provide best in class solutions.

• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how own area collectively integrates to contribute to achieving overall business goals; requires basic industry knowledge.

• Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.

• Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years relevant experience

• Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to persuade and influence others; may negotiate with external parties.

• Mid-Senior level experience in a related role commensurate people management experience.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
