CollegeLab are looking for individuals interested in stepping into the education and career counselling industry. We don’t necessarily need prior experience, but we want candidates who are passionate about writing, editing and learning more about the process of education and how it can be improved.
Successful candidates will be those who have the ability to present their ideas effectively and directly, and who can work effectively with others to improve the quality of our students’ writing skills.

At CollegeLab, we’re seeking to build a robust mentorship framework for teenagers, in collaboration with schools, parents, counsellors and the students themselves. As alumni of top global universities and colleges like Oxford, Cambridge and Columbia, we want to bring our own academic experiences to the lives of students.
We’re in our third year as a company and are looking to expand and hire more enthusiastic team members as we take on more students. We’ve had a great start, with our first batches securing admission to fantastic universities such as Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Oxford, LSE, Columbia and Cambridge and we want passionate people to help us keep the momentum going.
Requirements
Job Role:
Reviewing written assignments from the students and providing feedback
Conducting ideation and feedback sessions for individual students, along with the mentors
Developing writing guides and handbooks for our students
Periodically contributing articles to our blog on trends in education
Conducting writing workshops and hosting webinars periodically
Attending weekly training and update meetings with the Head Mentors and other editors
Requirements:
Strong language, writing, communication and editing skills
Familiarity with MS Word and Google Docs
This is a full-time role, candidates should expect to be available from 11AM to 7PM from Monday to Friday from February to August, and from Monday to Saturday from September to January.
Benefits
Remuneration will vary depending on experience. For Freshers, salary will be a minimum Rs 20,000 per month upon completion of at least 3 months training and probation. Experienced editors may receive up to Rs 50,000 per month.
