Job Description

Role Summary: Reporting to the Development Director, the successful candidate will lead the concept, design, implementation, support, and execution of front-end development for internal and external clients, for integrated, cross-channel initiatives. This person will have responsibility and accountability for establishing front-end development guidelines, standards, and best practices for Web and Digital applications, for both new and existing websites, coding native HTML and CSS, which brings visual imagery for desktop and mobile websites to life, ensuring compliance with customer guidelines and strategies. The successful candidate will collaborate with leadership teams by optimizing websites for usability in accordance with W3C Standards, search engine optimization concepts, and ADA accessibility techniques. In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience as a front-end developer, and be an expert in building responsive web pages, with the ability to translate mockups & prototypes into seamless web pages with good visual and functional elements, simultaneously ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs while collaborating with UI/UX designers to understand user requirements.Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience writing native HTML, React, CSS, JavaScript, & PHP with proficiency in the latest release of each.

• Proficient in CMS systems like WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Woo, etc.

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including Bootstrap, and knowledge of modern JS frameworks (React).

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds.

• An Online portfolio that includes examples of previous work.

Education Preference:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of professional experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Solid understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing SASS framework

• Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

Must speak & write English fluidly, must have a personal computer and access to reliable internet. Must have software access for programs needed for the job title. Ability to work in various time zones is a plus.Job Types: Full-time, Walk-InSalary: INR10,000.00 – INR30,000.00 per monthSchedule:
