Full Job Description
Interacting with Application requestors for Gathering requirements for New software packages and applications
Collect the clear requirements from the customer and deliver error free software packages
Providing the status reports on the packages which are in queue for the requestors
Delivering the software packages (in built, Vendor managed) within the defined timelines
Should have knowledge on packaging and deploying Microsoft applications like Visual studio versions, Office versions and wide variety of engineering tools and software’s having services, drivers.
Creating applications and software packages and hosting them on Software Center which helps users to install required software.
Providing user friendly applications with respect to Install, Upgrade, Update and Un-Install process with single click.
Automate software distribution process and ensure that the installation doesn’t break other applications functionality that have already been installed
Provide end-to-end Support model of application management life cycle
Experience on deployment of applications on production systems with at least 10k clients in SCCM .
Knowledge of IT Service Framework of Service Now and handle break fix ,requests ,change requests using Service Now
Root cause analysis for break fixes
Providing support through Zoom, Teams calls
Experience on working with Tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager /SCCM, Install shield/Admin Studio, PSADT(PowerShell application deployment toolkit) ,ACT
Good knowledge on Scripting languages like VBS, PowerShell
Should know usage of monitoring tools like Procmon and usage of system/sccm generated logs to know status of application deployment failure/success.
