Role purpose

• Colt TSO Assurance & Inventory Application development team is looking for an Inventory application full stack developer with passion and proven track record to working in a team of dynamic developers in the Telco space. The successful candidate will be responsible for a the analyses, designs, develops, Enterprise class Inventory applications.
• You will be responsible for the development of the solution to support the Colt product Catalogue and the development should align with the Colt strategy.
• As part of this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, system architects, BAs, program managers and other development teams to deliver state of the art solutions which will seamlessly integrate with the Colt internal systems . Development should be of high standard in both technical and functional levels.

Key accountabilities

• Gather systems development and support requirements from business users.
• Document requirements in a form which can be used within the team (eg user cases, data models).
• Analyse and validate requirements to produce high level, low level designs and specifications in line with standards and methodologies in use.
• Provide estimates for requirements, analyse and develop application as per the requirement.
• Carry out 2nd/3rd line support where required. Implement and test against specifications, delivering improvements to end users.
• Expand and use of standard technology, frameworks, processes and best practices.
• Educate end users on latest features.
• Provide examples and test cases.
• Work to ensure end users receive high quality, high performance, and useful solutions. Including both front end and back end.
• Should be familiar with standard practices like ITIL , SDLC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Developing all levels of the application stack, including front end

• In Java8 and Web APIs
• Well versed with OOPS Concepts, unit testing, integration testing
• Agile Methodology/ Waterfall methodology
• Proficient in English language
• HTML, , CSS, XML
• Frameworks : SPRING, Hibernate, Spring Boot
• Technologies: JAVA, Servlet, JSP, JSTL , Azure
• Distributed Technology: Web Services- Restful Services, Microservices
• IDE :Eclipse, IntelliJ
• Well versed in Active MQs
• Build tools: Maven
• Version Control: SVN, Bit Bucket
• Backend : Excellent in the database technologies (SQL, Oracle DB )
• Server : Windows Server 2012 or higher version, Linux
