• Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure considering industry best practices and following the processes defined
  • Building cloud-native approach, CI/CD, Infrastructure as code practices etc.
  • Building self-healing systems with the help of strong SRE practices
  • Take ownership of the solution from end to end and be responsible for translating functional/business requirements into an infrastructure solution
  • Work closely with product management and development teams to satisfy business requirements for new features
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams

  Must have Technical/Process Skills:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in setting up & managing production-grade complex & high-frequency systems
  • Strong experience in Linux, windows, networking along with scripting with shell, bash, Powershell etc.
  • Experience in working with architectures like SOA, Microservices, Serverless etc.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native ecosystems like containerization, packaging services & Orchestration such as Docker, Kubernetes etc.
  • Strong knowledge in provisioning, configuring and managing/maintaining infrastructure & services using industry best practices on top of cloud like AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
  • Proven skills in optimizing the compute, storage and network service cost
  • Hands-on experience in infrastructure as code with tools like cloud formation, terraform, ansible etc.
  • Experienced in creating & maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Travis etc.
  • Experience in implementing a secure, robust and high availability DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Experience in building/maintaining systems with zero downtime using deployment methodologies like blue-green, canary etc.
  • Experience with enterprise application architecture design patterns and how they translate into infrastructure deployments
  • Exposure to setting up highly available systems which are resilient to meet the business SLAs
  • Experienced in integrating observability & monitoring tools with services across a mix of open-source tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger, Distributed tracing etc., and/or commercial platforms such as New Relic, AppDynamics, DataDog etc.
  • Knowledge of building systems considering the security, governance, performance and operability
  • Developed dashboards & automated alerts to measure uptime, monitor services and remediate issues

  Good to have:

  • Knowledge of working on enterprise architectures
  • Team leading experience and project management experience in complex environments
  • Experience in setting up the SRE practices with automated event-driven playbook pipeline e.g. SaltStack, n8n, StackStorm etc.
