APAC Cash Management is critical function consists of managing Cash and meeting funding requirement of the firm. This requires you to work in tight funding deadlines along with warranting strict adherence to controls. Your typical day would be preparing projections for Treasury, instructing fund movements, investigating fail & reconciliations. Any incorrect reporting would lead to incorrect funding which would result into multiple trade fails, opportunity loss, potential interest claims, escalation from counterparty banks/Banking association, reputational risk, regulatory implication & even loss of business/license. You are required to work in tandem with Treasury/Settlements/Internal-External Stakeholders/agent banks. You would be working in controlled environment and hence would require you to strictly adhere to control checklist, any issues/process failures need to be logged and remediated. You are required to get yourself sufficiently trained/cross-trained and become SME to help business to cover during unforeseen situations. Core tasks include: • Preparation and communication of accurate and timely funding forecasts • Investigation and validation of funding positions in a multi-system, multi-entity and multi-currency environment • Adherence with rolling external deadlines throughout the day • Taking decisions of and execution of high value funding payments • Analysis, understanding and communication of intraday liquidity usage drivers • Collaboration with internal teams and external agent banks to meet daily funding objectives, and continually improve control and efficiency of the process • Contributing to initiatives and challenges on top of daily responsibilities to ensure the right outcomes for CS Your future colleagues Cash Management is responsible for funding and intraday liquidity management of CS’ bank accounts; providing accurate and timely cash projections by legal entity and currency to Treasury; and managing, measuring, and reporting intraday liquidity for both internal risk management and regulatory submission. This full-time role offers you the opportunity to develop extensive knowledge of the banks processes and departments; work closely with other departments including Treasury, Funding Desks and Operations; and directly contribute to handling the banks costs and compliance with regulations. The candidate must have: * Experience and track record of achievement in a numerical/technical field and be able to evidence confidence and accuracy dealing with large numbers.
